Frequently Asked Questions
Do we have to set anything up?
All requested items provided by or rented from Paris Convention Center will be setup by our staff as per the customer's instruction prior to their arrival. Any changes, additional items from outside vendors, or decorations can be done by the renter.
What if I need to change dates?
If you need to switch dates, you can do so if your event's original date is more than 90 days away with no penalty. If your original date is less than 90 days away, you will be required to pay an additional $100 deposit for the new date. (Deposit payments are applied to your total cost.)
If the new date is 30 days or less away, the entire payment is due.
What happens if I need to cancel my event?
We have a 60 day incremental cancellation policy. You can receive a full refund if you cancel 60 days prior to your event. Cancellations 60-45 days prior: 25% of total amount withheld from refund, 44-30 days prior: 50% of total amount withheld, 29-14 days prior: 75% of total amount withheld, less than 14 days prior: 100% of total amount withheld.
How long can we have the building?
All bookings are made per day. If the room was not used the previous day, it will be available at 7:00am. If it was used, it must be cleaned and will be available by 10:00am. All renters will have possession of the building until 2:00am the following day.
What is included in each kitchen?
Each kitchen is equipped with a commercial grade two-door refrigerator, commercial grade oven, ice maker, three-bin sink, large prep table, two serving carts, coffee maker, and tea maker. (Home grade stove top and oven in building 1.)
Styrofoam plates, napkins, and plastic utensils are also available.
What does the Paris Convention Center supply?
We supply tables, chairs, AV equipment, lattice boards, and mobile bars and coolers. We do not supply tablecloths or any decorations.
Can we reserve the pool or pavilion along with the Convention Center?
No, the pool and the pavilion are for hotel guest only. If you're staying at the hotel while renting the Convention Center, it is open for use, but it cannot be reserved.
At what time do noise restrictions take effect?
By city law, noise complaints may be filed after 9 pm in the winter months and 10 pm in summer months. After these times, all outside doors must be kept closed while music is being played.
Does your hotel cater meals?
Neither the Paris Convention Center nor the Quality Inn provides a catering service. We allow the renter to bring in any vendor or catering service of their choosing.
Does Paris Convention Center provide security or other services during my event?
Staff members are available for hire for $10/hour for 1 of the following 3 categories: Security, Cleaning, and Operation of AV Equipment. These services must be booked no less than 14 days prior to the event.
